What is Play Therapy?
Play Therapy is a specialist clinical intervention appropriate for children and youg adults age 3-24yrs
A BAPT registered Play Therapist works with the young person in individual one-to-one, or in group therapy, using play as a medium to communicate difficult and troubling life events, which sometimes cannot be articulated by the child.
Young people are referred by a range of agencies and families and can also self-refer.
Clinical reports can be prepared and Filial sessions, bringing parent and carer together, can also be facilitated by the therapist.
