Call to all Parents/Carers and referrers- we are here 6 days a week and one evening to support you and your child or teenager's mental health and wellbeing. As trained and qualified mental health professionals we are available for a consultation appointment at our therapy base in Ladyburn Business Centre with one of our specialist trained Play Therapists; young people's Counsellors or Family Workers to talk through the issues presenting and prior to a decision re. making a referral for our range of supports.
During this initial conversation we can help you to ascertain if our services are the correct and appropriate one that best meets the needs of your child and family.
If after in depth chat what we provide is not the best fit or if your child or teenager does not require specialist play therapy or young people's counselling-we are happy to help signpost you to other community supports or services that may be of help via our many network partners and local colleagues.
If your child or teenager is threatening suicide or severely self harming- we will always consult with our frontline health partners immediately and in the first instance and/ or signpost as a matter of urgency to ensure the safety and mental wellbeing needs of the child are being met and by the correct professional.
