A heartfelt thank you to Craig Scott, coaches, parents, and the young people from Morton Community Under 12s football team for a fantastic donation of £500 to Mind Mosaic Child and Family Therapies that they recently fundraised!
Well done to all involved and as a small local charity we are extremely grateful for all of your efforts.
It was a pleasure to meet with this fantastic wee team today when they called in to our therapy base at Ladyburn Business Centre and received a tour of the play therapy rooms and heard our Director Sandra and therapists Beverley, Eamonn and Suzanne talk about building resilience, managing feelings, coping, and being part of a team as well as knowing where the places are that we can go to if we ever need help with difficult feelings and life events.
The visit ended with some snacks and treats and a wee pocket size bag of sensory and self soothing items for each boy to help de- stress and reduce anxiety if ever they should need it.
Thanks again boys- you are a credit to yourselves, your coaches and your parents and it was lovely to meet you
