Our popular WEE MINDS attachment play sessions got off to a good start this week in the new term!
Parents with babies heard about infant story massage technique from our Family Worker and had the chance to practice some of the stories and movements for themselves. Some discussion and useful handouts on the importance of play and appropriate toys at various stages of child development age 0-2yrs. Lots of free play time - sensory and exploration- for babies and toddlers from birth to 3yrs in our large well equipped baby play room..time for a snack- and the session ended with some relaxation techniques/ handouts for parents to practice and benefit from at home
WEE MINDS is an attachment play group for infants from birth- 3yrs which focuses on the attachment relationship between parent and child; enhances child development, and promotes good parent and infant mental health and wellbeing.
Classes meet on Wednesdays and Fridays at our therapy base in Ladyburn Business Centre and are FREE to Inverclyde parents and babies.
