Week 4 of our Summer Superhero’s Group.
The young people were told a story of how superhero’s wore masks to not only protect their identity but to help them overcome problems and issues that affect them.
They then took part in an arts and crafts activity by making their own superhero masks and giving their superhero’s problems and issues that may affect them. There was then a discussion around how we may overcome these problems.
Our Superhero groups are funded by The National Lottery Young Start are a diversionary activity which help us meet outcomes for children and young people by building confidence; improving mental, physical and emotional health; and providing new skills to help cope and manage with the use of superheroes and the values they represent.
