This has been one of the busiest summers ever for Mind Mosaic Child and Family Therapies at our base in Ladyburn in Pottery Street Greenock.
The groups are at maximum capacity and in full swing with the Superheroes well in to their journey of resilience and confidence building...the Comic Book Group are busy journalling and creating their personal stories of strength and positivity...and our WEE MINDS babies and parents are building stronger bonds of attachment. We love to see their progress and development every week as they play and grow and this week alone we are delighted to receive a further 12 new registrations for parents and their babies ....70 children, teenagers and parents referred to our services are receiving weekly Play Therapy, individual counselling and or family work for medium to complex difficulty and trauma, ....we provided the practice placement to a 1st year play therapy student on the BAPT Msc in Play Therapy post graduate training from WithKids/ Queen Margaret University.... and as always we remain open and transparent to visits from our supporters, funders, volunteers and network partners.
A busy time indeed and as ever the priority and focus for all that we do is to effect change and to deliver the best mental health and wellbeing support for Inverclyde children and parents.
