As a unique and specialist service and the only play therapy organisation in Inverclyde- we are always happy to support local schools when we are approached by them and asked to provide play therapy services.
During the past 6yrs we have provided specialist play therapy mental health intervention to 8 local schools and hundreds of Inverclyde school children- and received referrals where presenting psychological difficulty and challenging life circumstances require longer term and more in depth intervention to achieve good outcomes and improved mental health and wellbeing for more complex referrals.
Our highly qualified Play Therapists are mental health professionals registered by BAPT PTUK and the Professional Standards Authority which is a check and balance for the public and referrers that they are receiving the highest standard of service from organisations adhering to an ethical basis and guideline and staff who receive clinical supervision from an approved supervisor.
