As we approach World Mental Health Day this Tuesday 10th October.... Shout out with encouragement to all who are privileged to work with or have the care of children who want or need to talk about their difficulties- we hope you are supported to hear them and are equipped appropriately to ensure they receive the help that they need when they open up the most difficult feelings...
A shout out also to the Play Therapists across the UK who are specialist trained and qualified to support and work with the children and teenagers who often have no words to describe what has happened to them... and who sit alongside them through storm and stress and create the core conditions that through play- the medium in which they communicate- they find their voice again
