WEE MINDS

At last Fridays Morning Summer Activity Groups our Wee Minds baby group enjoyed edible messy play.

Messy play, involving activities like tactile substances, offers a range of developmental benefits for babies. Some include: Sensory Development, Fine Motor Skills, Creativity and Imagination, Language Development, Emotional Expression, Social skills, Exploration and Curiosity as well as Problem-Solving Skills.

Overall, messy play is a valuable and enjoyable way for babies to learn and grow. It provides a foundation for many skills that will be beneficial throughout their lives.

Our WEE MINDS groups meet 4 times a week on Wednesdays and Fridays at our child and family therapy base at Ladyburn Business Centre.

Fun attachment based play sessions promoting infant maternal and paternal mental health; early child development and sensory play; the relationship between parent and child; opportunities to meet new parents- for babies and toddlers from birth to 3yrs.

WEE MINDS is fully funded by Cattanach Better Starts Better Futures and classes are free to Inverclyde parents.

We are grateful to the Cattanach trust for this vital funding that helps support the mental health of Inverclyde infants and parents from the outset
