We recognise the impact of birth trauma on new parents and we provide support via our WEE MINDS service for infants age 0-3yrs and parents. We were happy to have taken part in research in to birth trauma here at our children's service base in Ladyburn Business Centre when Professor Kuipers Head of Midwifery at Edinburgh Napier University and her team spent time over the summer with us and interviewed Mothers who bravely came forward to share traumatic experiences with a need to be heard and as they were supported by trained and qualified therapists at Mind Mosaic Child and Family Therapies who understand the impact of trauma on both parent and child.
